Our own Jim Fogarty is confirmed the Centurion Open winner with a magnificent 64 and Richard Kenwood taking 5th place a shot behind on countback. Jim and Arthur Dolby won a nearest the pin prize.

The July Monthly Medal started overcast and cold but then the sun came out, conditions hotted up and the balls were running. The winner was Alison Chadwick with a net 69 just pipping (courtesy of a better back nine) new arrival Nina Humphries also with a net 69.
Richard Kenwood proved the worthy winner recording a glorious 65. His nearest rivals 3 shots behind were John Ritchie and Kerry Sargeant. Jess Melville was DQ for a rule 6-6d infraction – results have link to his card for inspection.
Toby Hunt has a commanding 14 shot lead in the Grand Medal Trophy so far but challenge may come from players yet to complete 5 rounds.
Bob Ardern won the Association Trophy with a 62 but Simon Hallam for RP came 5th on 65 with Tony Kopczak a shot behind. Ladies handicaps were not adjusted in the overall result, but in the RP competitor’s result they received 3 shots, placing Christine Brazier first with a glorious 65 on a countback from Simon Hallam.

Club Championship Rd 2
Another hot sunny day with running balls but increasing wind hosted the second round of the Club Championship, Handicap and Pembroke Cups.
Harriet Carr won the second round with a impressive gross 74 one shot below her handicap and is the 2010 Club Champion with an aggregate gross score of 151. In second place was Jayne Maxwell with a gross 86 and an aggregate 170.
Jayne Maxwell shot a net 69 two shots below her handicap winning the Handicap Cup for the fourth year running with an aggregate net score of 135. Overall runner-up was Harriet Carr with an aggregate net score of 141.
Sonia Inniss shot a net 74 winning the Pembroke Cup with a aggregate net 146. Alison Chadwick came second with an aggregate net score of 151.
A separate medal competition for the ladies not able to compete in the overall competitions of the day was won by Kate Emmanuel with a stonking net 63, 7 shots below her handicap.
Rory Partis held a 3 shot advantage going into the 2nd round of the Club Championship from Paul Doran and just held on to win by one shot with an overall total of 157.
In the Junior Division, Steve Cross made a bid with 83 to edge ahead of first round leader Mike Rowe but Mike held on with an 84 to win with an overall total of 170, just one ahead of Steve.
Steve triumphed in the Handicap Trophy, helped by an impressive 63 in the second round for a total of 131 – 5 ahead of Mike. Steve also won the net sweep on Sunday with his 63 – and a handicap reduction of 3.
CSS dropped 1 to 69.
