The men managed a 3-3 draw away for an overall 7-5 win, to bring home the trophy for the first time in seven years.
Rickmansworth – Away Leg
Overall result: 7-5 win
for the first time in Seven Year’s our Men’s Team returned from Rickmansworth with the “Tricky Ricky” Cup. This is an annual match with both an away and home leg, which our boys won 7-5 !
An outstanding effort by some quality golfers in both fixtures! At one stage in the match the Rickmansworth Captain commented that he thought we had forgotten what the cup looked like! As you can imagine this was all the inspiration our Men’s Team needed 🙂 . Awesome Guys !

Was it the effect of Rory at the Open, or the sun that brought the ladies out in force on Sunday? Probably the highest attendances of the year thus far.
Despite the sun scores were still on the high side with the CSS increasing by 2 shots. A new name at the top of the list is Caroline Stilwell, winning her first monthly medal with a net 71. In second place 3 shots behind was Molly Hood.
Good scoring resulted in a back 9 count-back to place Nigel Gaymond the July medal winner from Liam Bridger – both 66s. One shot behind were Phil Flanagan and James Barker. CSS was a shot below SSS at 66.
In the associated Grand Medal Trophy after 5 rounds, Nigel has a commanding lead of 18 points on 338 from Nigel Ward.
