Winter Comp Rd 8 / Dukes Eclectic Rd 4
A gorgeous sunny day saw the last round of the Dukes Eclectic some good scores and the first non-RO round of the year. Val Riziotis won with 39 points followed by Kate Emmanuel on 36 points and Jayne Maxwell on 35 points.
And Val ran away with the overall Eclectic with a net 69, five shots clear of the rest of the field.
Following early clearance of ground frost conditions proved to be relatively mud-free. Scoring proved relatively difficult but the clear winner by a margin of 3 points was Toby Hunt from Andy Furniss, Shaun Feldon and Paul Doran.
Stableford CSS was reduced to 37 points.
In both the associated competitions there were ties.
Cuneyt Sazer and Rick Smith shared the Winter Competition on 117 points, 2 clear of Jon Cooper.
Strategic scoring at holes on Sunday lifted Kerry Sargeant up the order in the Duke’s Eclectic to tie with Paul Doran on net 60, two ahead of Shaun Feldon and Toby Hunt.
Winter Comp Rd 7 / Princes Eclectic Rd 4

Conditions at the Park
Paul Grand was at the Park this morning. The course was closed but bright sunshine was trying to melt the remaining snow. Frost is predicted tonight. It’s not yet known if the course will be open tomorrow.
