Mitcham Ladies – Home Leg

Overall result: Win 4-4
Having won the “Rich Mitch” Cup for the last few years things were hanging by a thread this year, after a comprehensive 3:1 loss to Mitcham in the away match earlier in the year.
The return match on Dukes was held in awful weather and was fiercely contested. I am proud to say that the Richmond team won 3:1 at home to tie the match and retain the trophy!

On Saturday 21st June an 8 strong team played the first friendly match away at the 9 hole course at Amida in Twickenham.
Format for the day was 4 ball better ball match play and the Richmond Park team played convincingly to win 3-1. Thanks to all who played.
The team received a very warm welcome from the Amida Ladies and we look forward to meeting up again in 2009.
