Prince’s Course Local Rules

Out of Bounds:

On the 1st hole, to the right of the white stakes on the 18th hole.

To the left of the white stakes when playing the 10th, 17th and 18th holes.

Immovable Obstructions:

Cut paths are immovable obstructions.  Rule 16 applies. 

Areas designated as cut paths are as follows:

The path to the left of the tee on the 1st hole.

The made-up path between the green on the 1st hole and the tees on the 18th hole.

The path between the green on the 1st hole and the 2nd hole.

On the 2nd hole the path to the left by the tee area, and the path to the left and behind the green.

The path leading to and between the ladies’ and men’s tee on the 4th hole.

The path between the 4th hole and the tee for the 5th hole.

The path behind the 4th hole that extends from the green on the 16th hole to the tee on the 17th hole.

The path to the right of the 6th hole tee area.

The area to the left of the tee on the 7th hole.

The cut area to the front of the tee on the 8th hole.

The path to the left of the tee on the 11th hole.

The path to the left of the green on the 12th hole and to the right of the tee on the 13th hole.

The path on the right and in front of the tee on the 14th hole.

The path to the left of the 14th, 15th and 16th holes.

The path to the left of the 17th hole.

The path at the back of the 18th green.

Any cut path so designated on the Duke’s Course which is not in an area that is out of bounds.

The following is classified as an immovable obstruction where Rule 16 applies:

The roadway that cuts across or is adjacent to the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 9th,10th, and 17th holes.

No Play Zone:

The badger sett area marked with stakes to the left of the green on the 9th hole is a no play zone from which free relief must be taken under Rule 16.1f.
