Duke’s Course Local Rules

Out of Bounds:

To the left of the white stakes on the 18th hole when playing the 3rd hole.

When playing the 6th hole, to the right of the white stakes on the 6th hole, continuing through, and to the right of the white stakes on the 2nd hole.

To the left of the white stakes when playing the 14th hole.

To the right of the white stakes when playing the 11th, 17th and 18th holes.

Immovable Obstructions:

Cut paths are immovable obstructions.  Rule 16 applies.  Areas designated as cut paths are as follows:

The roadway that cuts across the 1st and 2nd holes.

The path at the back of the 1st hole and the tee for the 2nd hole.

The roadway to the right of the 2nd hole.

The path to the left and back of the green on the 3rd hole.

The pathway between the tee on the 4th hole and the green on the 14th hole.

The walkway to the right of the ditch on the 6th hole.

On the 9th hole the areas to the right of the main tee and the forward tee.

On the 10th hole the area to the left of the forward tee and the paths to the left and right of the 10th green (including the path to the right of the 7th tee area).

The made-up area to the right of the tee on the 11th hole.

To the right of the tee on the 12th hole.

To the left of the rear tee and to the right of the forward tee on the 15th hole.

The path to the right of the tee on the 16th hole.

The path to the left of the forward tee on the 17th hole.

On the 18th hole the path to the left of the forward tee area, the paths to left of the green and the path at the rear of the green.

New and old aprons to the ditch bridges on the 4th, 5th 6th 12th 13th,14th holes.

Any cut path so designated on the Princes Course which is not in an area that is out of bounds.

The cut drainage trenches on the 11th hole are immovable obstructions and Rule 16 applies.

No Play Zone:

The badger sett area marked with stakes to the left of the fairway on the 15th hole is a no play zone from which free relief must be taken under Rule 16.1f.
