Only 9 pairs turned up for the Autumn Mixed Foursomes. Given that most of the car park was taken over for the organisation of Sunday's duathlon at the Park, it was probably just as well there weren't many more.

The winners were Janet Fox and Paul Grand with net 73 and the runners-up were Julie Smith and Ian Smith with net 74. Julie and Ian also won the scratch event with a gross score of 83.

The general consensus was that the less than brilliant performances at golf were more than made up for by the competition between savouries (Richard Owen) and cakes (Julie Smith). Although vast quantities of food were sampled, it proved impossible to separate the competitors and it was agreed a play-off should be organised in the near future!
